SYSTEM, the Korean contemporary fashion label, collaborates with BARACUTA, the British heritage brand established in 1937 and creator of the iconic G9 and G4 jackets. This collaboration bridges classic British craftsmanship with modern Korean design sensibility, offering a refined reinterpretation of timeless silhouettes through SYSTEM’s distinctive contemporary lens.

Rooted in SYSTEM’s FW25 collection theme of revisiting the emotions and memories of childhood, the SYSTEM × BARACUTA collaboration reimagines the G9 and G4 jackets with a modern sophistication. Each piece embodies SYSTEM’s vision of connecting the classic and the contemporary transforming familiar wardrobe staples into elevated essentials that preserve their enduring charm. 

The G9 jacket introduces a subtle yet stylish twist to the iconic Harrington silhouette, featuring delicate silver stud embellishments that convey a sense of understated  confidence. The G4 jacket, on the other hand, stands out with a layered design that evokes the look of a checked shirt worn underneath, capturing SYSTEM’s distinctive approach to
everyday layering. Together, the two styles celebrate BARACUTA’s enduring heritage while expressing SYSTEM’s balanced interplay of minimalism and detail.

The SYSTEM × BARACUTA collaboration will officially launch in October 2025.
The collection will be available at the SYSTEM Flagship Store in Paris, on the official SYSTEM online store (system1900.com), the official BARACUTA online store (baracuta.com), and through selected global retailers.
