The collaboration between two South Korean legacy brands has officially arrived in Paris.
First shown on the runway at Paris Fashion Week last June, SYSTEM has released a new sneaker in collaboration with PRO-SPECS, a leading South Korean sports brand launched in 1981.
In this collaboration, SYSTEM has given its own interpretation to PRO-PECS Marathon 110 model, one of the classic icons from the brand’s heritage lineup. By using the archive ‘F’ logo from the original model, this sneaker merges the identity of both brands through a timeless offering with a modern approach.
Reflecting SYSTEM’s Spring-Summer 2025 season theme, ‘Summer Love,’ the two brands have reworked a sneaker by developing three colorways and featuring exclusive design elements: refined satin shoelaces and a metal ornament.
Released in 3 colorways of Beige, Brown, and Grey, the mild color palettes capture the fleeting yet sweet hues of ‘Summer Love.’ These colors portray the diverse yet intense emotions that unfold under the strong sun, exploring the complexities of love, shades of pain, and the various aspects of emotional experience.
The satin shoelaces add an elegant charm to the sneakers with their soft and luxurious texture. The subtle sheen of satin portrays the intense excitement and deep emotions felt in fleeting yet passionate encounters in Summer.
The circular metal ornament represents the purity of love while also conveying a sense of luxury and a strong impression. The iconic circular shape symbolizes continuous cycles, reflecting the infinite possibilities and fleeting beauty of love. The metal detail adds a chic and modern touch, emphasizing the complex and multifaceted emotions of love.
